A MESSAGE FROM A TRUE CHAMPION - ON AND OFF THE COURT
 |
I'm absolutely delighted and proud to have my name over the door of such a fantastic facility, the new Dame Susan Devoy Squash & Fitness Centre. The centre represents an exciting recreational addition to the Tauranga region. It is truly multi-purpose and will bring a new level of fitness opportunity and design never before seen in New Zealand. I'm just thrilled the community are going to have an opportunity to reap the benefits of what the centre has to offer and I'm confident it will do what it's designed to do - that's to get more local people active, involved, fit and healthy. We all know that sport helps grow healthy communities and getting young people and retaining the not-so-young people in sport is one of the best things we can do. I hope that this community asset will benefit thousands of people for many years to come.
So enjoy ... see you on court.

Its multi-purpose design brings huge flexibility in the way we present our core game of squash, as well as allowing other fitness activities to be run and co-ordinated from this wonderful location. It is expected there will be high demand for courts during peak times of lunchtime and after work. Please ensure you cancel your game if you do not intend to play. This obviously frees up courts for other members and shows courtesy to fellow members. There will be much stricter control on players not cancelling games and persistent culprits will be penalised - you have been warned. |
Visitor Tag option
All members have the ability to play a visitor by pressing the visitor option when they activate the lights with their key tag. By pressing this button you are incurring a charge of $10 that covers the cost of this game. The money is to be paid to the office as soon after the game as practical or if the office is unmanned - put the money in the envelopes provided and place in the box provided on the counter.
Do not activate the visitor option unless you are prepared to pay the $10 fee. This amount is automatically charged to your account and will be recovered by the office. Members found abusing this option will have the facility removed from their tag. |
Security Cameras
We have installed motion sensitive security cameras throughout the complex - excluding the changing areas. These cameras are for your benefit ensuring safety and security to all members including when the centre is not manned. Please respect this wonderful new complex by treating it as your own private members club. Any vandalism or activity that causes disrepute to the club will be acted upon.
